DAV Public school, Nabinagar has made great strides since its inception in 2002 with 52 students. It is situated in outskirts of Nabinagar town on Nabinagar-Amba Road. Within a short span 13 years, it has risen to a great height by virtue of its better academic excellence. Today school has its own newly constructed four storied building on its 2.25 acres of land and is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi.

It is a matter of great pride for us that school came into existence in a block level remote area only due to the efforts of Mahatma N.D. Grover, a great educationist & founder of more than 250 schools in the eastern region. The school is making rapid progress under the able & dynamic guidance of Dr. U. S. Prasad, Regional Director, DAV Public Schools, Bihar Zone-II. It won’t be an exaggeration to say that he is showering his blessing along with his proper guidance and support for the all round  development of the school. Mr. Jagat Mohan Kumar, Manager is kind enough to extend his full support and co-operation for the flourishment of the school.
